CoRDiS

The Standing Committee for disputes and sanctions (CoRDiS) was created by the French law passed on 2 December 2006 in relation to the energy sector. The committee executes CRE competencies with regards to sanctions and settles disputes related to the access and use of public electricity grids and natural gas networks.

It is composed of two government counsellors, appointed by the Deputy Chairman of the Conseil d’Etat, and two counsellors from the Cour de cassation.

The Committee Chairman is appointed by decree.
